KARACHI: The Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) will participate in the 44th Bangkok Gems & Jewellery Fair being organised on September 15 till 19.
This is the fifth time in a row that Pakistan is participating in the show. The PGJDC has set up a pavilion with six counters displaying gems and jewellery products from Pakistan.
The objective of the participation is to enhance business opportunities for the Pakistani gems and jewellery traders and entrepreneurs in international markets in general and the Far Eastern market in particular, eventually increasing the exports from Pakistan.
The gems and jewellery industry has been benefiting a great deal from the fair in past few years. The company aims to develop maximum B2B opportunities, both short-term and long-term.
Products at the Pakistani pavilion include gemstones like emerald, ruby, peridot, lapis, kunzite, tourmaline, garnet, sapphire, aquamarine, morganite, spinel, zircon, jade and other gold products. Link...
