Meera brings ‘life-threatening’ e-mails on media

LAHORE: Film actress Meera has shared with reporters the e-mails sent to her by her purported husband Attiqur Rehman threatening her of dire consequences if she does not accept him as her husband, a private TV channel reported on Saturday.

According to the channel, Meera showed the e-mails to reporters at Evernew Studios. She said she had been receiving life threats from Attiq.

However, Meera did not give much detail, saying that her lawyer had advised her not to issue any statement to the media.

Attiq has denied the allegations and said he had neither talked to her on phone nor sent her any e-mail since August 25. He claimed that the e-mail address was fake. Link...
