Rescue 1122 finalises Eid emergency plan

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Rescue 1122 on Saturday finalised a comprehensive emergency plan to provide quick and effective cover to people during Eid prayers, said a press release. More than 400 rescuers would remain on high alert in the district and 14 well-equipped emergency ambulances and 15 fire-tankers would also be positioned in sensitive parts of the city to respond quickly to any emergency call during Eid prayers. Rescue 1122 would also set up special mobile posts to provide medical cover to people at Eid prayer congregations. The posts would be established at Chandni Chowk, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Road, Pirwadhai Morr, Civil Lines Station, Kachari Chowk, GT Road, GPO Chowk, Faizabad flyover, Liaquat Bag Chowk and Fawara Chowk.
